Nassar survivor makes accusations against Engler

EAST LANSING, Mich. (WOOD) — One week after one of Larry Nassar's survivors accused Michigan State University interim president John Engler of offering a payout during a meeting without her attorney present, Michigan's former governor is facing more allegations about his conduct.

During the April 13 MSU Board of Trustees meeting, Kaylee Lorincz said Engler offered her $250,000 while she and her mother met with him, Special Counsel to the President Carol Viventi and MSU Spokesperson Emily Guerrant on March 28.

After things got heated at that board meeting, Engler released a statement saying, "our memories and interpretations of the March 28 meeting are different than hers."

Lorincz spoke during Friday's Rally for Resignations on MSU's campus, adding on to her statement from the week prior.

"President Engler met with my mom and I, his special counsel, and his spokesperson, and they talked about money. Not just once, not twice, but many, many times," Lorincz recounted as she stood on the steps of MSU's administration building.
