HOLLAND, Mich. (WOOD) — You will soon be able to do short-term rentals on the lakeshore through companies like Airbnb.
Holland City Council approved a two-year pilot program allowing short-term rental properties in the city by a 5-4 vote Tuesday. The council did include several restrictions on the properties.
The pilot program will only allow 25 rentals. The rentals would have to be a minimum of 500-feet away from each other, which will be inspected every year.
