COMSTOCK PARK, Mich. (WOOD) — The West Michigan Whitecaps have canceled their open workout Wednesday due to snowfall on the field.
The team didn’t say if the workout would be moved to a later date.
The Whitecaps’ 25th opening day is scheduled for 6:35 p.m. April 5 against the South Bend Cubs. The first 1,000 fans will receive a 25th season replica jersey and there will be fireworks after the game.
