But first! The Eagles will play Van Andel Arena on Thursday, March 15, at 8 p.m. Concert was announced yesterday. The band will be Don Henley, Joe Walsh, Timothy B. Schmitt (no known relation to our Shmitty), Deacon Frey (Glenn's son) and Vince Gill. Tickets are scheduled to go on sale Friday next week (December 15), but somehow Steve Kelly scored some already and gave them away Thursday morning on West Michigan's Morning News on WOOD Radio. Maybe he'll shake loose some more next week.

Grand Rapids Community College Players present “December '67” in Spectrum Theater, tonight and Saturday, curtain at 8 p.m.

Holland Civic Theatre presents “Nuncrackers: The Nunsense Christmas Musical,” tonight and Saturday at 7 p.m., plus a 2 p.m. matinee on Saturday.

DeVos Performance Hall hosts "The Nutcracker," performed by Grand Rapids Ballet and the Grand Rapids Symphony, at 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday, with matinees at 2 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.

The Grand Rapids Symphony Youth Chorus will present their Holiday Concerts in the Basilica of St. Adalbert, Sunday at 4:30 and 7 p.m.

The Frauenthal Center in Muskegon will host the West Michigan Concert Winds performing “A Disney Christmas” family singalong, Friday at 7 p.m.

Central Park Players of Grand Haven will present “The Wishing Tree” and “The Littlest Reindeer,” holiday double feature, this Friday, Saturday and Sunday, and Friday and Saturday next week, December 15 and 16.
