Plainfield Township, Mich. -- The Northview Public Schools football game will move forward as scheduled despite a threat that canceled classes on Friday.
The school was closed Friday due to a potential threat that was made by a student. The school sent a letter to families saying the closure was out of an abundance of caution.
Northview Public Schools is working with the Kent County Sheriff's Office on the investigation. KCSO says a suspect has been identified and a no trespass order has been issued.
Investigators say the threat was made toward a staff member, not the whole district.
