Frozen ground beef from Ada factory recalled

More than a thousand pounds of fully cooked, ready-to-eat frozen ground beef produced by Michigan-based Ada Valley Meat Company is being recalled. The U.S. Department of Agriculture's Food Safety and Inspection Service says the recall is due to the beef possibly containing metal. The items have a pack date of May 28th with the lot code 35156 and a pack date of May 30th with the lot code 35157.

Potentially contaminated products should either be thrown away or returned to the place of purchase.
