Part of I-96 will close this weekend in Walker for demolition of the Fruit Ridge Avenue bridge.
Both directions of the freeway will close at 7 p.m. on Friday and will reopen at 6 a.m. on Monday.
Officials say drivers will have to exit I-96 at Fruit Ridge and will be able to immediately get back on the freeway.
Drivers will not be able to travel north or south on the bridge.
