The Ottawa County Board of Commissioners is approving a settlement with a pastor who accused the board of religious discrimination.
The commission approved the settlement with a 9-2 vote.
The lawsuit was filed in October 2023 by Reverend Jared Cramer.
The suit alleged that Cramer was not allowed to lead an invocation at a commission meeting because Board Chair Joe Moss disagreed with Cramer's beliefs.
