Around 25% of registered MI voters have cast their ballot

Michigan Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson says almost 25 percent of active registered voters have cast their ballot in the November election already.

Early, in-person voting began on Saturday across the state.

Benson says 250,000 people cast their ballot on Saturday which far exceeded expectations.

Michigan law requires at least nine days of in-person voting leading up to an election.
