Deadly disease in deer found in 11 counties, says DNR

The Department of Natural Resources is tracking the spread of a deadly virus among a number of deer across several West and Southwest Michigan counties.

As if early September, the DNR says that cases of epizootic hemorrhagic disease, or EHD, has been confirmed in deer in Barry, Berrien, Branch, Calhoun, Cass, Hillsdale, Kalamazoo, Kent, Ottawa, St. Joseph and Van Buren counties.
