A man is facing charges after he shot and killed a 15-year-old who was riding a scooter in downtown Grand Rapids earlier this year.
Josiah Tyree Pittman is charged with second-degree murder and using a firearm during the commission of a felony.
La-kyijah Williams was near Studio Park around midnight on May 18 when Pittman fired shots at someone, missed and hit Williams.
Officials have not commented on who Pittman was aiming for.
