A West Michigan lawmaker is introducing a bill to designate November as Dutch Heritage Month.
State Rep. Brad Slagh of Zeeland is proposing November as Dutch Heritage Month in Michigan and November 16 as Dutch-American Heritage Day.
Slagh says its an honor to introduce this bill to celebrate their ancestors.
