The state of Michigan is granting millions of dollars in funding to Meals on Wheels Western Michigan.
The organization servers roughly 6,000 older adults in Kent and and Allegan counties.
Meals on Wheels will use $2 million to revitalize and expand its kitchen in Grandville.
Officials say improving their facilities will lead to increased capacity to make meals for the community.
