Around 8:50 a.m. this morning, the Kentwood Police Department responded to reports of a pedestrian struck by a vehicle.
According to a release from the Kentwood Police Department. It happened on Eastern Avenue SE, near Lyles Street SE. Investigation revealed the pedestrian was struck while crossing Eastern Avenue, along with a second vehicle immediately after.
The pedestrian was then transported to a local hospital with serious injuries, though they aren't believed to be life-threatening. The drivers and passengers were also checked for injuries, with one person taken to the hospital with injuries also not considered to be life-threatening.
