The death of a man is officially being ruled as a homicide after he was shot last week.
The shooting occurred on Sep. 6 in the area of Turner Avenue NW and 10th Street NW. The man died Wednesday.
When officers arrived on scene, they found the man inside a crashed vehicle with multiple gunshot wounds. He was then taken to the hospital with critical injuries, where he later died. Investigation revealed that the shooter appeared to be a in a separate vehicle and before leaving the area.
The victim's name and information on the potential suspect or suspects has not been released.
