The 32nd Grand Rapids Public Schools Turkey Trot is attempting to break participation and fundraising records this year.
Organizers hope to break the records set last year of 5,834 participants and over $100,000 raised.
The event is held on Thanksgiving morning with the starting line in front of Van Andel Arena.
Proceeds support GRPS scholar athletes.
