Kent County emergency dispatchers to partner with mental health clinician

Emergency dispatchers in Kent County will soon be working alongside a mental health clinician, thanks to an expanded partnership with Network180.

Network180 will work with the county's emergency dispatchers to support those experiencing mental health crises.

The sheriff's office says the program will help connect people in crises with resources. It’s also expected to reduce law enforcement and medical responses, allowing these teams to respond to other situations.
