Another bumper crop for Michigan apple farmers

ALPINE TOWNSHIP (WOOD-AM) - The Michigan Apple Committee says they are expecting around 30.5 million bushels of apples to be picked.

That's around 1.28 billion pounds of apples.

Last year, 32 million bushels of apples were harvested. Both numbers were well above average.
