A pedestrian was reportedly hit by a car while crossing a road in Walker.
It happened this afternoon on Wilson Avenue NW south of Leonard Street NW.
According to the Walker Police Department A man was crossing the road mid-block when he was hit by a car headed northbound.
The pedestrian was taken to the hospital with injuries not considered to be life-threatening. Southbound Wilson Avenue was temporarily closed because of the crash but has since reopened.
The crash remains under investigation.
