A new fire service and emergency medical services millage on the August primary ballot will help fire departments and EMS crews maintain their operations.
Thornapple Township used to have separate millages for fire services and EMS, but the new millage being proposed will merge the two, making things a lot simpler.
Residents will end up paying the exact same amount that they are used to.
