Police say the suspect in connection with the bank robbery that occurred in downtown Grand Rapids yesterday is now in custody.
GRPD announced the arrest of 42-year-old Dale Linus Green III this afternoon. Green has not been arraigned but is now facing a charge of bank robbery.
At around round 2:15 p.m. yesterday, officers responded to a bank alarm at the United Bank located at 44 Ionia Ave. SW. The robbery suspect had fled the scene before cops arrived. The suspect managed to obtain money before fleeing, though police have not yet specified how much.
Both GRPD and FBI responded to the scene for the investigation.
