U.S. Representative Hillary Scholten, D-Grand Rapids, is calling for President Joe Biden to step away from the presidential race.
Scholten posted a statement on social media Thursday saying, " For the good of our democracy, I believe it is time for (Biden) to step aside from the presidential race and allow a new leaders to step up."
She noted the President's "incredible legacy" but said it is time to look to the future.
