GRAND RAPIDS (WOOD-AM) - A doctor from Sterling Heights has been sentenced to 30 days in the Kent County Jail for practicing without a license in Grand Rapids.
Husam Abed treated a patient days after his license was suspended by the state two years ago.
Abed will also have to pay a fine, court costs and other penalties.
