The Ottawa County Sheriff's Office is soon going to add body and patrol car cameras.
The department has selected Axon to provide the video equipment and storage.
The county will receive roughly 200 body cameras and 120 cameras for patrol vehicles.
Ottawa County Sheriff Steve Kempker says the technology is a necessity and they owe it to the community for transparency.
