GRAND RAPIDS (WOOD-AM) - Riverside Park will host its first Food Truck Friday of the year tomorrow.
Casa De Los Abuelos will be a new option this year, which means "House of the Grandparents."
The truck is run by Cesar Ayala-Orellana.
"My grandpa was working anything in the kitchen, that's kind of what got my mom into cooking a lot more," Ayala-Orellana told WOOD-TV. "My grandma was doing things like house cleaning, and slowly but surely, we built up to the life we have now."
The menu includes flatbread items called pupusas, which are big in Salvadoran cuisine.
