Southwest Airlines will begin offering direct flights from Grand Rapids to Las Vegas this fall.
The flight will be the carrier's eighth non-stop route from the airport.
Gerald R. Ford International Airport Authority CEO Tory Richardson says the route is more convenient for the West Michigan community.
Allegiant Airlines already offers a non-stop flight to Vegas from GR.
