GRAND RAPIDS (WOOD-AM) - Police in Grand Rapids say a woman is expected to recover after getting shot at a "car meetup" on the southeast side of the city yesterday.
It happened near 41st Street and Trade Drive around 2 a.m.
More than 100 people were said to be there. Police say drivers were said to be doing donuts and burnouts in the street and firing guns.
A woman was fatally shot at a similar event on the southwest side of the city last year.
