Cleanup efforts are now underway after severe storms and a tornado swept through the Portage area on Tuesday evening.
Numerous buildings were destroyed and powerlines and trees were downed, however no one was killed.
The Kalamazoo County Sheriff's Office says 16 to 20 people were injured in the storm but none of the injuries are considered life-threatening.
The FedEx facility on Portage Road was heavily damaged.
Between 15 to 17 homes at the Pavilion Estates mobile home park were destroyed.
