The Ottawa County Sheriff's Captain says they believe the threat against West Ottawa High School is unfounded.
The threat was received Friday morning and officials say an unknown caller threatened violence.
Captain Jake Sparks says officers went to the school as a precaution and helped dismiss students after a planned half day.
The department is still investigating who was behind the call.
