The NCAA is announcing the University of Michigan and five individuals who work or previously worked for the football program have reached an agreement after recruiting violations.
The NCAA says a three-year probation and other penalties will be enforced.
UofM athletic director Warde Manual says they are pleased to reach a join resolution on the matter so the football program can now move forward.
The school acknowledged failure to deter impermissible recruiting contact as part of the resolution.
The recruiting case is separate from allegations of in-person scouting and sign stealing.
