Four percent of Michiganders chose to vote early in February

Roughly four percent of Michigan residents chose to vote early in the presidential primary in February.

The Board of State Canvassers certified the primary election results on Monday.

In 2022, Michigan voters passed a ballot proposal requiring at least nine days of early, in-person voting leading up to state and federal elections.

The February primary was the first election that required early voting.
