The Grand Rapids Fire Department says there were no injuries after a car fire spread to a home on Tuesday afternoon.
The fire happened at a home on Sherman Street SE near Fuller Avenue SE around 1:15 p.m.
GRFD Battalion Chief Mark Fankhauser says a car fire spread and got inside the structure of the home.
Crews had to fight the vehicle fire as well as the house fire.
Two adults and a child were home but were able to escape safely.
