NORTHVIEW (WOOD-AM) - A petition to ban eight books from the school library has been unanimously rejected by the Northview Public Schools board.
Cal Morton claimed the books were sexually explicit.
Morton's attorney said offering sexually explicit material to minors is a felony.
Other community members and students called Morton's movement to ban the books offensive.
