The Kent District Library is holding a poetry competition for teens.
The annual Write Michigan Teen Poetry Contest is open through the end of the month.
Teens in sixth through 12th grade living or going to school in Kent County can submit up to two poems for a chance to win a Meijer gift card.
There are no guidelines on format, length or content.
