ROCKFORD (WOOD-AM) - Investigators are still trying to figure out what sparked a house fire that left a man with critical injuries early Saturday in Rockford.
The back portion of the structure was fully engulfed in flames when firefighters arrived to the scene on East Main Street.
Dispatchers were told the fire started in the basement.
