GRAND RAPIDS (WOOD-AM) - Michigan State Police say a 39-year-old trooper is dead after getting hit by a vehicle during a traffic stop.
Joel Popp was with the Tri-City Post.
Popp had stopped a vehicle on northbound Interstate 75 near Birch Run. An 81-year-old man hit two patrol cars and Popp, who was outside his vehicle.
