Meals on Wheels says no one will go hungry despite weather conditions

Meals on Wheels of Western Michigan says food deliveries to thousands of seniors in the area are being delayed due to weather conditions and treacherous roads.

The organization serves 6,000 seniors in Kent and Allegan counties and is committing to continuing service this week despite challenges.

The nonprofit's president Lisa Wideman says they do not plan to close this week but deliveries may be delayed by a couple of hours.
