GRAND RAPIDS (WOOD-AM) - Sheriff's deputies in Mecosta County have put out a warning about fake prescription pills.
The pills, which were seized last week during execution of a search warrant, had pharmaceutical markings, but were actually methamphetamine.
The sheriff's office says it's becoming more common to find methamphetamine pressed into pills.
Deputies are reminding people that they should only use medications prescribed by doctors and distributed by pharmacists.
