Downtown Wayland is holding a sandwich competition in January with the proceeds going to fight childhood hunger.
Between the Buns will include 11 different area restaurants competing for the best handheld food item.
The public is encouraged to try sandwiches from as many locations as they would like and then vote on the city's website.
The competition will run through January 31 and then the top five sandwiches will be judged by a panel.
The restaurants will donate $1 from each sandwich to the Hand to Hand program.
