The Ottawa County Board of Commissioners is naming Kendra Wenzel to fill a vacancy on the board.
Former commissioner Kyle Terpstra resigned in November creating the vacancy.
Six commissioners voted for Wenzel, while three commissioners voted for other individuals.
She was sworn in immediately.
Wenzel is a Republican but is not affiliated with Ottawa Impact.
Her term will run through December 31, 2024.
