Grand Rapids Police Chief Eric Winstrom says they are investigating the 22nd deadly shooting in the city this year.
Police were called to the area of Hall Street and Marshall Avenue around 6 a.m. Monday morning on reports of an unconscious person.
Officers discovered the individual had been shot and died.
The individual is a man in his 20s or 30s.
