GRAND RAPIDS (WOOD-AM) - The former Charley's Crab restaurant in downtown Grand Rapids might soon be torn down.
A permit application has been submitted to demolish the building on Market Avenue.
The city is waiting for confirmation that utilities have been shut off.
The COVID-19 pandemic played a major role in the restaurant's closure.
The building also caught fire last year.
