Ottawa County Commissioner Lucy Ebel will face a special recall election next May.
Ottawa County Clerk Justin Roebuck confirmed Monday night that petitioners submitted enough signatures to have the recall election held.
More than 3,000 signatures were submitted, but hundreds were rejected.
Roebuck says 2,575 signatures were validated which is 94 over the amount required for the recall.
The election is set for Tuesday, May 7,2024.
