MI accepting applications for Hospitality Training Institute

Michigan is relaunching a program with a goal of attracting and retaining hospitality and tourism employees.

The Hospitality Training Institute of Michigan is accepting applications for their 12-week hybrid program.

The state has given $10 million to the program.

Michigan Restaurant and Lodging Association CEO Justin Winslow says the industry has dealt with promoting people out of necessity and this program will help get employees ready to succeed at a management level.
