WALKER (WOOD-AM) - An investigation is expected to continue today into a late-Friday fire at the former Deltaplex Arena.
The Walker fire chief says it started in a wall on the west side of the building.
There are reports of smoke damage. The Santa Claus Girls non-profit is concerned smoke may have damaged gifts for thousands of local children.
One firefighter was hurt after slipping on ice at the scene, but is now said to be recovering at home after being sent to the hospital for x-rays.
