The Grand Rapids Public Schools chief of staff and executive director of public safety is returning to work after a few weeks of paid administrative leave.
GRPS says Larry Johnson returned to work on Tuesday.
The district says a complaint was made about a phone conversation involving Johnson three weeks ago.
GRPS brought in an outside firm to investigate the complaint.
