The University of Michigan is accepting a three-game suspension for head football coach Jim Harbaugh and the Big Ten is agreeing to close their investigation in the alleged sign stealing scheme.
The two parties were scheduled to attend a hearing on Friday as the university challenged the ruling that was handed out from the conference.
Michigan says the Big Ten has confirmed they were not aware of any information confirming Harbaugh was involved in allegations against the program.
The Big Ten says they found Michigan violated their policy by "conducting an impermissible, in-person scouting operation over multiple year, resulting in an unfair competitive advantage that compromised the integrity of competition."
The university says they will continue to cooperate in an investigation by the NCAA.
Offensive coordinator Sherrone Moore will continue to serve as interim head coach.
