Michigan State University is announcing they will begin a scholarship program to give qualifying, in-state students free tuition.
The Spartan Tuition Advantage will launch in fall of 2024 and will cover the cost of tuition for all Pell Grant-eligible Michigan students who have a family income of less than $65,000.
Students will only need to fill out the Free Application for Federal Student Aid paperwork to apply.
Changes in a student's financial situation could impact their eligibility in the future.
