The program TalkSooner is partnering up with local pizzerias to inspire more parents to have the "drug talk".
Research shows that eating together regularly can help prevent teenage risk behaviors such as using tobacco, alcohol and marijuana.
TalkSooner has approached several pizzerias about joining the initiative, including Don Petrino's Pizzeria in Holland, Chuckwagon in Luddington, Russo's in Wyoming, Pompeii's in Baldwin and Cadena Brothers in Muskegon
During the initiative, the pizzerias will be passing out pizza cutter and flyers with information listed.
