United Way of Ottawa and Allegan Counties is pausing the donation of funding to other nonprofits as their fundraising is down.
The United Way typically donates to groups like Grand Haven Area Public Schools, Community Action of Allegan County and more.
The organization says in the last five years fundraising is down around 30 percent.
The group is down $500,000 this year alone.
